International Parent Orientation

Each fall Saint James School hosts an International Parent Orientation. This informative meeting is intended to provide parents of international students with valuable information which they can use to assist their students with the transition to an English speaking school. Parents who attend are provided with an information packet about Saint James School programs and meet the ESL teacher and school administrators including the athletic director who can answer questions about the sports program and eligibility. Parents are also given the opportunity to work with Jason Bostic, the Saint James 21st Century Technology Coordinator, to get an overview of information that can be accessed through the Saint James website and NetClassroom accounts. Through Net Classroom, parents and students can view grades and assignments and access other useful information.

Parents will receive an invitation in the mail in the fall and may also check the STJ Events Calendar on the website for the date of the open house. For more information, contact Susan Atkins at satkins@stjweb.org
