Commencement 2019

The Saint James Class of 2019 has earned over $4.4 million in scholarships from universities and colleges around the world. These young adults, who embody the mission of Saint James, are destined for great things. They are the world’s future musicians, athletes, engineers, artists, doctors, and so much more!

Saint James 1985 Alumnus, Mr. Richard B. Hare, addressed the graduates and their guests at Commencement 2019. His inspiring speech was reflective, accented by humor, and filled with challenges for the graduates to consider as they embark on their college years and beyond. 

Richard Hare, Saint James Class of 1985, delivered an inspiring Commencement Address to the graduating class.

Mrs. Laura Spivey, Middle School Principal, was awarded the G. Stanley Frazer Faculty Award by Alumna Alison Argo McMaken '11 and Head of School Dr. Larry McLemore.
Mrs. Clare Simon, Saint James Elementary School Counselor, was presented the Melba B. Richardson Lifetime Achievement Award by Board of Trustees Chair, Mr. Barry Prim, and Head of School, Dr. Larry McLemore.
Will Moore delivered the Senior Address to his fellow graduates. His remarks set forth a list of insightful life lessons for his classmates to reflect on and objectives to strive for in the future.
