A Message from the Head of School – 10/27/17
Dear Saint James Family,
Many great things have been happening within our school family and learning community! Yesterday, our volleyball team won two games at the Super Regional Tournament, advancing to the State Tournament next week! We are so proud of the hard work and dedication of our girls and of Coach Karen Lee! Yesterday, Coach Lee won her 100th career victory in three seasons at Saint James, and each year under Coach Lee's leadership our Volleyball team has advanced to the State Tournament! Follow onCampus and the Saint James School Facebook page for information about game times of the Volleyball State Tournament in Birmingham! Let's show the Saint James spirit and cheer on our lady Trojans! Also, our football team is having another great season and plays a big game tonight against Trinity! Please come out wearing your blue and gold to Carlisle Field to cheer on the Trojans at 7:00 tonight! We have earned a spot in the Football State Playoffs and with a win tonight we will host the first round of playoffs on the Saint James campus at Carlisle Field! We will also have Senior Night before kickoff to honor many of our seniors participating in band, cheerleading, cross country, dance team, and football! It will be a great time to celebrate our seniors and their parents and all our students playing football and participating in tomorrow night's game and festivities! On Saturday, our Saint James Marching Trojans Band will be competing in Atlanta at a Bands of America Super Regional competition. Our Marching Band has continued its tradition of excellence in music performance under Dr. Greg Jackson's leadership, and we are proud of the hard work and commitment that our band students demonstrate in all things! Our Cross Country team has had an outstanding season with great success so far, and they will compete in Sectionals on Thursday! We look forward to some great results this coming week from our Trojan runners! This weekend, our Saint James Robotics team will compete at the BEST Robotics competition in Auburn! We wish them them well, and they have been working diligently to develop their skills and prepare to compete in robotic demonstrations!
Great things are happening every day at Saint James School! We hope you will join us to encourage and cheer on our students in all their many activities!
We are Saint James School!
