STJ Robotics Team Designs “Most Photogenic” Robot!
The Saint James Robotics team proved that robots can be “pretty as a picture” too, when the school’s team-designed robot won “Most Photogenic” at Auburn University’s B.E.S.T. Robotics Competition in Auburn on Nov. 18. In addition to the Most Photogenic, the team won the Third Place trophy for their robot’s performance, after 13 rounds of competition. The STJ Robotics team now advances to the next level, the South's B.E.S.T. Robotics Competition, on December 7-8, when they will face 57 other teams from across the southeast in robotic competition.
The First Place award for the CAD design notebook, and the Second Place award for best t-shirt were also awarded to the Saint James School team.
