A Message from the Head of School – 12/1/17
Dear Saint James Family,
I hope you and your family had a wonderful Thanksgiving! I had the best Thanksgiving of my life as Josie, Wilder, and I welcomed a baby girl into our family! Our daughter, Daisy, was born last Monday, and Daisy and Josie came home from the hospital on Thanksgiving! Our hearts are filled with gratitude and overflowing with joy and love!
We have had a wonderful week back to school this week, and there are a lot of great things going on as we prepare to finish the first semester of this school year! Our students and teachers have done much great work during the fall semester! In the midst of studying diligently and preparing for tests and final exams, our students have continued to live out the mission and values of our school, working hard to fulfill their potential and growing through challenging themselves in their academic work and activities.
As we prepare to complete the fall semester, it is inspiring to reflect on the exceptional work our students and teachers are doing. Furthermore, it is powerful to consider why we do what we do together as a learning community. Saint James believes that a complete education is founded on developing the whole child. Our students are shaped daily to become well-rounded people and to take on challenges while growing and building skills and knowledge that will prepare them to flourish in their lives. With a complete education, our students are mentored to discover their individual potential and talents, while sharpening their intellectual abilities and forming their character. Through their hard work, our students are challenged to fulfill their potential as they are developing a growth mindset. As the semester is nearing its end, let’s encourage our students to continue the good work they have begun and finish strong!
We are Saint James School!
